ARREST AND DEPORTATION OF FRENCH NATIONAL MR. WILLIAM BOURDON
JULY 22, 2011 – The Immigration Department of Malaysia arrested Mr. William Bourdon, a French national, at the Kuala Lumpur International Airport at 11.30am today upon his arrival from Penang.
Investigations by the Immigration Department revealed that Mr. Bourdon had violated the terms of his Social Visit Pass as stipulated by the Immigration Act 1959/1963.
In accordance with Section 34(1) of the same Act, Mr Bourdon will immediately be deported to France on the earliest available flight.
